Use Application Manager
=======================

The Application Manager allows you to integrate custom-built external applications into the Wood InsightsPlatform (WIP). Once registered, these applications can be scheduled using the Scheduling Service.

To upload an external application to WIP, follow the steps below:

1. Choose :menuselection:`Configuration --> Sequencing & Applications --> Application Manager` from the menu.
2. Click the |add| **Add** button on the toolbar.
3. In the **Application Details Configuration** dialog:

   a. Enter a name and a description for the application.
   b. Under **File Name**, choose an existing application from the dropdown list of previously uploaded files.
   c. Alternatively, click **Upload** to add a new application file from your local directory.
   d. Select the **Enabled** checkbox to make the application available for scheduling.

4. Save your entries.
