Using WIP
=========

You can access the main functions of Wood InsightsPlatform (WIP) from the navigation sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen. From the navigation sidebar, you can easily navigate and select data for viewing or managing. 

You can use the following main functions:

      **Dashboards**

      WIP offers robust dashboarding capabilities designed to visualise data effectively within the WIP framework. By leveraging Grafana's powerful dashboarding engine, users can craft complex and rich visualisations, enhancing their data analysis and presentation capabilities.       **Schematics**

      WIP enables the construction and visualisation of data to depict complex processes such as those found in oil and gas, chemical, and refining industries. These diagrams show how various elements like piping, valves, pumps, and vessels are interconnected. Schematics are designed using WIP's Schematic Editor during configuration, which you can review from the Navigation sidebar. For more information, see :ref:`schematics`.

      **Data Review**

      You can review key details about how the app is set up and see runtime information from various key services under the **Settings** section of the Navigation sidebar. You can review :ref:`tags<dr.tags>`, :ref:`events<dr.events>`, :ref:`flowsheets<dr.flowsheets>`, :ref:`IO maps<dr.iomaps>`, :ref:`audit logs<dr.auditlog>` and access the :ref:`log viewer<dr.logviewer>`.
