Calculations

To enable the Calculation Service offered by Wood InsightsPlatform (WIP), you must perform a number of configurations under Configuration ‣ Calculation.

This involves the following:

  1. You can optionally create function block templates, which can then be reused across different flowsheets. For more information, see Configure Function Block Templates.

  2. You set up flowsheets in the Flowsheet Manager to design and manage the calculation architecture. For more information, see Configure Flowsheets.

  3. You set up scheduled jobs that trigger the calculation cycle and execute the flowsheets. For more information, see Configure Flowsheet Scheduler.

If you want to see detailed information about the intermediate calculations performed during calculation cycles, you can use the Calculation Cycle Inspector. For more information, see Use Calculation Cycle Inspector.
