Set Up Tag Groups

Grouping tags allows users to organise and find subsets of tags based on specific group values. Each tag group can be displayed as a column, making it easy to search and filter tags. For example, if a pump discharge flowrate tag has an Origin group set to “AirStripper,” users can quickly identify and filter all tags related to this specific asset.

By having tag groups as columns, users can efficiently search and filter tags to identify those that belong to the same asset, represent final emissions, or are calculated tags. This functionality enhances the ability to manage and analyse data effectively.

You can create, edit or delete tag groups from the Tags pane of the viewing area, which you can access in either of the following ways:

  • Choose Configuration ‣ Data Management ‣ Tags from the menu.

  • In the Navigation sidebar, go to Settings ‣ Tags.
