Sequencing and Applications

Under Configuration ‣ Sequencing & Applications, you can configure and monitor the Scheduling Service provided by Wood InsightsPlatform (WIP).

The Scheduling Service is WIP’s built-in mechanism for executing instructions at user-defined intervals. It supports two main types of instructions, depending on their origin:

• Native instructions are built-in to WIP and available for core services, such as Data Service, External Data Service, Calculation Service, Event Service.

• External application instructions originate from third-party applications. Before scheduling, the external application must be registered within WIP.
