Set Up Single Instructions

You can create a single instruction when a task needs to be executed only once.

To set up a single instruction, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Configuration ‣ Sequencing & Applications ‣ Scheduling Service from the menu.

2. In the Scheduling Service pane, click the Send Single Instruction button (top right).

3. In the Send Instruction dialog, enter data as follows:

   1. Select the relevant service from the drop-down list in the Service field.

   2. Select an instruction from the drop-down list in the Instruction field. The available options depend on the service that you selected above. For detailed information about the available instructions for each service, see the Available Instructions tab on the Scheduling Service pane.

      Note

      Instructions containing ByRange, Historical or Replay in their names are replay options. For more information about replays, see Replay Instructions.

   3. Depending on the instruction, additional input fields may appear (for example, selecting a specific item to schedule). Enter data for these fields as required.

      For example, Calculation Engine Service instructions require options described in Schedule Calculation Groups.

4. Click Send to execute the instruction.
